I came across this design in a book of old, painted stained glass windows and adapted it to mosaic. Starting in the 1880s painted stained glass windows began to be mass produced in the factories of Victorian England and they quickly became very popular. This is such a charming and vibrant piece, once again using the brilliant colours of art glass.
